The Seniors/50+ Yoga Program, proudly offered by M-Powered Living Inc., is a trusted, ongoing wellness initiative that has been supporting the city of Calgary and surrounding municipalities aging population for over almost 3 years.

Facilitated by a registered 200-hour yoga teacher with experience in seniors and chair specific programming, each class offers a gentle, adaptable yoga practice designed to meet participants where they are—physically, emotionally, and energetically.

Our facilitators bring deep care, patience, and professionalism to every session, ensuring that all participants feel supported, seen, and encouraged.

Delivered by a Trauma Sensitive Movement Specialist this program blends the principles of Trauma Center Trauma-SensitiveYoga (TCTSY) and Paul Grilley’s Yin Yoga.

It offers a unique, integrative, and body-centered approach to trauma recovery in a safe, inclusive, and compassionate setting.The focus is on fostering empowerment, presence, and reconnection to the body using trauma-informed practices.

This approach blends yoga with trauma theory, neuroscience, and attachment theory, offering participants a safe and supportive space to explore healing without actually speaking to a participants personal trauma.
